If you have requested a Helper to help with a certain bill, you will be able to select the bill and see a list of those you have requested help from directly through the app and a list of those who have contributed to your bill.
However, 'People you have asked' does not include those you have sent a social shareable link to or who you have set to be automatically notified when you receive future bills from a certain Provider.
People you have asked:
Under People you have asked, you will see a list of HelpPay connections you have shared your bill with. This will not include anyone you have set up to automatically receive future bills or those you have sent a shareable link to.
People who have helped:
Under People who have helped, you can see who has contributed to your bill. This will list out everyone who has contributed to your bill through the app and who has contributed through a public payment page if they have decided to not remain anonymous. i.e. they have not included their name on the public payment page.
Other Contributions
You may notice under People who have helped, there is a line for Other contributions. Other contributions are Helpers who have made a contribution to your bill through an online payment page and who have not indicated their name, as they may want to stay anonymous.
To view people you have asked for help and those who have contributed:
- Go to Bills
- Select the bill you would like to review
- There will be two sections; the first covers People who have helped and the second, covers People you have asked. Under People you have asked, you will see the contacts you have asked for help from, via the HelpPay app.
This will not include anyone set up to receive automatic notifications on this particular bill Provider or those you have sent a social link to.
To review who you have sent a shareable link to, you will need to revisit the channels you might have sent the request through. We recommend keeping note of who you are automatically sharing bills with and from what Provider for each Helper.
