HelpPay uses BPAY details for uploaded bills to ensure that payments made are linked to a Provider and not to someone's account. If a Customer is using one of our Integrated Providers then we can validate the bill through account validation with that Provider. 


This means that any contributions made to a bill through the HelpPay public payment page, which can be viewed in your browser (this is available to Helpers who do not have the HelpPay app) and contributions made through the HelpPay app, are all automatically going to reduce the amount due.


To ensure the bill is up-to-date, we do not allow more than one person on the payment page, either through a browser or the app, at the same time. As this could result in multiple payments at the same time and therefore, overpayments.
