HelpPay will send notifications about bills when due dates are approaching, bills are overdue or a contribution was made to your bill. You will also be notified about contacts, such as requests to connect, connections requests that have been accepted, request for help, a help request due date that's approaching, or a new bill is available for a contact.

We recommend keeping notifications from HelpPay enabled, so that you can keep up to date with your bills and the bills of contacts you want to help. However, the HelpPay notifications are highly customisable, so if you want to disable a certain notification, you can.

To change your notification settings in HelpPay:

  1. Go to Profile
  2. Select Notifications
  3. Modify your settings to suit your preferences. When a toggle is displaying as pink, this means the notification for this has been enabled. If you no longer want to receive these notifications, select the toggle so that it is displayed as grey
  4. Your changes will automatically be saved

iPhone notification settings:

To view HelpPay notifications on an iPhone, please ensure that both the HelpPay notifications have been enabled (as outlined above) and your phone's notification settings have been enabled. To enable your notification settings on your Apple device:

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Select Notifications
  3. Select the HelpPay app
  4. Enable notifications by selecting the slider

Please note: HelpPay notifications won't show when you are active within the HelpPay app. Keep an eye on your emails as all notifications will be sent to you via email.
