You can share your bill with multiple people for help and have multiple people make contributions to your bill through HelpPay.

 

However, if someone is viewing your payment page or on your bill to make a contribution through the app, others won’t be able to access that bill until the Helper has finalised their payment. This is to ensure that the amount remaining on a bill is accurate and is not overpaid, due to multiple payments at the same time. 



There are two ways you can share your bill from the HelpPay app.

  1. Copy and share a unique link, this is handy to share your bill with someone who doesn’t have the HelpPay app.
  2. Ask for help from a contact who is connected with you in the HelpPay app.



To share a bill with someone who doesn’t have a HelpPay account:

  1. Go to Bills
  2. Select the bill you would like to share
  3. Select Ask for help, then Copy and Share
  4. Select the channel and people you would like to share your bill with



To share a bill with someone who is a contact in the HelpPay app:

  1. Go to Bills
  2. Select the bill you would like to share
  3. Select Ask for help, then Ask via contacts 
  4. Select the contacts you would like to share your bill with. You may share your bill with up to 10 contacts at a time.
  5. You have the option to automatically share new bills from that provider with the contacts you selected by putting a check on the box.
  6. Select Send Request to confirm
